Competitor Analysis
I scanned the competitor landscape and compiled observations on UI/UX patterns, opportunities, challenges, and things to avoid.
Wireframes
Wireframing was used as a tool to quickly brainstorm UI designs. The most successful design presented the general status at a glance, smart recommendations, and charts intended to inform decision-making.
Branding
Pulling from the company’s existing branding and color schemes, I created a logo, chose a color palette, and created a style guide to apply to the UI.
Frontend Development
I used Bootstrap and a Python frontend templating framework to implement the UI and tie it to the backend. Languages used included HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python.
